Single handed fly rods
We will be offering our advanced custom single handed rod building course on limited basis this winter. These classes are not just about rod assembly but rather making rod components. In this one day class, you will be using lathes to make your own reel seat and custom cork handle. Some experience using a lathe is helpful but not required. You will leave at the end of the day with a completed customized fly-rod from start to finish. Geoff Pieroway will be your instructor and course fees include all of the components that you will need to build a single hand fly rod. Special student pricing is available for the 36 rpm drying motor and a hand-wrapper. Workshop size is limited, so register early. Please call 587-436-4363 to register or for more information.
